As the festive season approaches, it’s the perfect time to elevate your Christmas celebrations with a taste of Ibiza’s culinary tradition. Homemade quince paste, an exquisite accompaniment to a fine selection of cheeses.

Using only simple and natural ingredients, this recipe is easy to prepare and will bring a touch of luxury to your holiday table. Whether you’re hosting family dinners or intimate gatherings, this traditional delicacy is sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients

  • Quince

  • Sugar

Preparation

  • Take the quince from the tree.

  • Boil them in a pot for about 30 minutes.

  • Leave to cool and peel.

  • Cut into pieces and boil 1 kg of quince for every ½ kg of sugar.

  • Bring to the boil.

  • Pack and put in the fridge and… ready to eat!
