After spending four months on Hoteles con Encanto‘s user-picked TOP 10, Can Lluc has nabbed a spot among Spain’s leading “hotels with charm”. The site’s creator, Fernando Gallardo, is a journalist, speaker and hotel critic for El País. Through El País Aguilar, Gallardo publishes a yearly guide—a collection of the nation’s most storied “hotels with charm,” each boasting its own personal touch.
The blog’s monthly ranking, which is based on readers’ votes and clicks, first included Can Lluc back in April and the agritourism resort hasn’t stopped its ascent since. Can Lluc recently joined hotels in northern Spain among the country’s top five accommodation options.
This year, Can Lluc Country Hotel & Villas was the only Balearic resort to secure a spot on the site’s prestigious TOP 10 (Can Mostatxins, on Mallorca, came in at 18). Farther down the list are hotels like Formentera’s Es Marès, at 46, Sa Talaia in Sant Antoni de Portmany (87), Casa Manuel (Formentera, 102), Can Martí (Sant Joan de Labritja, 183) and Can Pere (Santa Eulària des Riu, 189).
